Um....I think that's all the listy stuff. Instructions are as follows: Look for patterns. Post comments that have connections you made between certian things and try to categorize the patterns as "special skills." I am too dense/tired to try and look for patterns in these things, and it's probably easier for me to get feedback from others than it is for myself to read through it. Thanks a bunch.

Date: 2004-06-22 05:25 am (UTC)Also remember that a resume rarely gets a jobit gets you in the door to talk to someone, and it's a basis for an interview. Definitely list all the cons and dates for them. Set it up for the conversation you want to have, which is someone being quickly convinced that you'd take care of the Crown Jewels if offered a job doing so and then asking you about conventions, fandom, and your other interests. All CC students will have a range of classes they've taken, and someone interviewing students desperately needs a hook on a resume so they don't have to ask things like, "What's your major?" and "What were your favorite classes?"
One last thing: You're shopping for a boss as much as the other way around. I mean, there are some things you have to do for all jobs, but you want to gauge the job as much as have the potential boss gauge you.

Mention number of hours over your last N years of volunteering -- that's impressive and shows that you're a hard worker and community-spirited.
