Yeah. That's right. Went into the DMV for my test. Went well up to the test itself, and I bombed it, missing 12 out of the 30 questions. I needed 6 errors or less in order to pass, and I bombed. It doesn't help that I was using the 2002 book instead of the 2004 book...OTOH: I know I still have 2 more chances in order to take it between now & Sept 16 of next year. Unfortunatly for me: I want to drive, but I've lost faith in the system.

All my buddies @ school have their licenses for one vehicle or another. All my buddies in HS have theirs too, and I'm sitting on no license & parent dependability because I didn't study. I don't want to be a burden to my parents forever. It's bad enough for me that I already owe money to them for my concert entertainment tonight because I'm a poor shmuck who still hasn't collected books. It's also bad because I owe [livejournal.com profile] flower_cat the $25 for the application fee....And let's try to leave class fees out of it...I'm not sure if I've repaid the [livejournal.com profile] mdlbear for those either......

True. It did. After I took a nap on the couch until my father got home, I felt a lot better. Mom & Dad were debating for 4 minutes who would take me to the concert, and Mom said she would. I went to the concert, but was disappointed to discover that none of the regulars were there. Only myself & 2 other people I know through the Heather Alexander shows, which are on Saturday.

There was talk of another Avalon Rising album due out next year sometime, and discussion with 'Stoph about [livejournal.com profile] mdlbear's album. The 2 regs were leaving after the 2nd set, but I stayed through to the end because I wanted to be there for all of it.

After the concert, I had to call home. I read on LJ a few days ago that [livejournal.com profile] mdlbear said I could get a ride from either him or [livejournal.com profile] flower_cat if I couldn't find one. Good thing I called when I did, otherwise both of them would've been asleep & I'd have been screwed for the night. I got home, then checked my email. Thing that pissed me off about the email: I had to write job descriptions for every position that I'm in charge of for FC. This means the 4 gofur positions, the 2 Info Desk positions, and the 2 Filk positions. That's a grand total of 8 descriptions I had to make up off the top of my head. What a nightmare. I hope I never have to do that again, and I hope that Spuds is updating the list. I need to redirect other people to it.
