True. It did. After I took a nap on the couch until my father got home, I felt a lot better. Mom & Dad were debating for 4 minutes who would take me to the concert, and Mom said she would. I went to the concert, but was disappointed to discover that none of the regulars were there. Only myself & 2 other people I know through the Heather Alexander shows, which are on Saturday.

There was talk of another Avalon Rising album due out next year sometime, and discussion with 'Stoph about [livejournal.com profile] mdlbear's album. The 2 regs were leaving after the 2nd set, but I stayed through to the end because I wanted to be there for all of it.

After the concert, I had to call home. I read on LJ a few days ago that [livejournal.com profile] mdlbear said I could get a ride from either him or [livejournal.com profile] flower_cat if I couldn't find one. Good thing I called when I did, otherwise both of them would've been asleep & I'd have been screwed for the night. I got home, then checked my email. Thing that pissed me off about the email: I had to write job descriptions for every position that I'm in charge of for FC. This means the 4 gofur positions, the 2 Info Desk positions, and the 2 Filk positions. That's a grand total of 8 descriptions I had to make up off the top of my head. What a nightmare. I hope I never have to do that again, and I hope that Spuds is updating the list. I need to redirect other people to it.
