And now to continue my earlier rant....

Okay. This is a continuation of the rant this morning. My father has told me time and time again, that all music (good and bad) needs to be appreciated. Some of the music, such as what is played in my 00 period @ 7:07am every morning, is good...however, the artist is a pathetic miserable fool who seems to make money off of the suckers. (I don't know who the artist is...it's good tekno, but bad vocals).
My math teacher has produced his own music album, more tekno, which was actually pretty good. However, Mr. Crean (math teacher who believes in Penguithulu) needs to take SERIOUS choir lessons. The man can't even sing Disney songs properly without choking on the words trying to find the notes that are associated with them.
And another thing: the word Penguithulu is MY word. I don't doubt that gridlore's minions exist, but the minions I'm talking about are different from gridlore's. Crean believes that a cow is a penguin in a sinister disguise. You know those animal posters they have in children's classrooms when they teach you the animals? He's got that cut up into peices and the thought bubble he placed above their head is as follows: "I'm actually a sinister penguin."

Date: 2002-10-28 08:37 pm (UTC)Have not! You need to be a little bit tolerant when you can't control what's being played in your environment, but nothing says you have to enjoy everything, or listen to stuff you don't like if you don't have to.
Some kinds of music that you don't like at first are a taste worth acquiring. Some aren't. It's worthwhile learning where you, personally, draw that line. Expect your tastes to change. And don't expect everyone to share them.
