I've always loved A Wrinkle in Time... it's weird, but it also makes me think. And it's also far superior to the sequels "companion novels."

But you're really making me wonder just how weird the movie version is. o_O;

I didn't find it all that weird, just lacking in explaining what was going on.

Though IIRC, the original book didn't either.

Well, go figure. It's a Disney movie, for one thing. For another thing, it may be close to the book, but nothing is ever clear in sci-fi movies.
