Only one word describes my pain: ouch! I had my wis teeth removed, as you could guess from the subject line. Not to mention it was all 4 teeth at once, which I think hurt...but I don't know as I was drugged/asleep for the whole thing. I got some sleep when I got home, waking up when Uncle Phil got here. I was able to game, which was good. Now I'm currently on a 8 hour drug schedule w/ Vicodin, amoxocylin, and ibuprophen. Not fun, but it's the only thing I can do to stop the pain.

The next problem I'm facing is that I can only have my caffeene through DN-L (Upside down 7-up) and can't eat much of anything until I think Wed at least. Pudding for a week doesn't appeal to me, dispite the fact it's all chocolate & is my fav. I just want to be able to eat Pizza this week if nothing else. Hopefully I can do that.

As for putting my retainers back in my mouth, that'll probably have to wait until I've finished all my pills.

At least you had 'em all out at once. When they did mine it was two at a time, IIRC.

As someone who just went through three days of living without food, too...

...you have my sympathies.

Maybe we should show off battlescars, some day?

I have already decided that I would rather be shot then have my wisdom teeth pulled. I had two molars pulled for my braces, and that was enough hell for me thank you very much. Eugh.

i'm sorry, love. i wish there was something i could do to help. i had to have a tooth pulled awhile back when i was little. one of my teeth was growing over the baby tooth that still hadn't fallen out. i had to have the baby tooth pulled. i was scared shitless. i wanted my mom, but the dentist said that if i didn't stop cryiong, he wouldn't pull the tooth. the guy was a god damned assfuck! we never went back after that. luckily we moved, so i didn't have to worry about it anymore. your tooth pulling was probably a lot easier.

Sympathies. I fortunately only had wisdom teeth on the top jaw--never came in on the other. And my dentist believed in aspirin only, because it makes the sockets heal better. (Very true, actually.) Fortunately, I've always had insanely high tolerance to pain. I'm glad you got to sleep through it, too. It's -- weird -- to have teeth out when you're awake. It's the cracking noise... (You didn't want to know that, did you?)

Naah, just trying to say it could be worse, give it a more encouraging spin. (Yeah, I have very weird ways of doing it. Mea culpa.)
