Sammamish Ridge Fire -- Update

chaoswolfMy sanity has not come into question here. I have been enduring as best as possible, with blinds drawn to not look at the devastation and watching movies to take my mind off of the events I came home to. I have a ride to game, I have methods of amusing myself, and am working on developing closer ties with other members of the community to attempt recovery, for their own sakes as much as my own.
This fire has deeply affected the residents of the complex, the landladies included. My thoughts and prayers go to Lilly, and I hope the dose of optimism she displayed to Teresa will remain with her. At the community meeting, I learned nothing except steps for crisis recovery. The fire inspectors, detectives, and chaplains didn't give us anything we didn't already know. I met a few people I want to try sharing my games with trying to share coffee with or anything else as a distraction. LtR has said he wouldn't blame me for going away for a few days to hang out with friends and get away from here (which, btw...I would love to do....) to take my mind off things. The detectives say as soon as they know anything, they'll tell us. There is a fund being set up for Lilly and another for the displaced victims, more information will be posted as I have it.
