R(andom) & R(ant) of the Day is as follows.
Today's meeting was long and boring. If you think about it, it was more of conventional politics from other cons. I think we spent too much time on the conventions that have transpired up until that point.

Currently distracted by lovely ladies in my room.

Any "all day" meeting is more politics then actually getting things done.

You need to read Parkinson's Law and its sequels. In particular the law that says that the time required to reach a decision is inversely proportional to its importance.

A group can decide to hold a convention in five minutes, and spend all day wrangling over whether to have potato chips or corn chips in the con suite.

... and watch those slashes. SGML end tags use slash, not backslash.
