jilara detailed the events of her journey pretty well
here when she said that she brought up a truckload of my stuff. The afterthoughts of
this: Our microwave turned out to be water-logged, and we almost started a small fire with the contents of it (warranty information and such). We looked around it, and there doesn't seem to be any visible way to ge the door open, and I'm guessing it's just an expensive paperweight now that needs to be replaced. Wouldn't surprise me if this were true.
Car:
Now that I've talked to
selkit: the probationary period on his mother's estate is nearing an end, though that still doesn't tell me what I need to know about getting one for use down here.
wolfwings mentioned something to me about his Ford Escort he has, which --- by all accounts is probably a nice car and in shiny new condition, but there comes the factor of getting it here. I need to go to sleep, breakfast, shower, DOL all in that order --- because I forgot my passport when I went in to take the test. 22/25 = not bad score, and now haz permit.
asahoshi is leaving J's house 0930, which means I'll be up... +/- 0730, fed, showered, and set by the time she gets here. Intending on having a Firefly/Chain geek-day because we're just made of awesome. She's offered to take me driving in J's neighborhood. I just won't ask to try driving with the childling in the back seat.
Filk events: Need to find out when the next one is, as I haven't been to one yet. Led has his blues jam every Thurs, and I need to talk to
mdlbear about setting up a holographic Chaos-cam in the living room for Wednesdays --- putting me on skype & video with a set of mic/speakers plugged into the lr @ Starport. I think it'd be cool.
Enough of my talking. I need to go to sleep.
P.S: I haz driver permit. Stay off the sidewalks in Redmond.
