Led & I went looking today. Saw lots of awesome possibilities. A nice condo w/ all the amenities we were looking for (washer, drier, 2 bed, 2 bath, fitness center, pool, fire place [extra that I didn't really mind, with a chain mail fire curtain], etc.) Roomy. Nice and spacious. I <3. The property management company only has this one condo available right now, and it looks to be a really awesome price for this one. Comes with sewer, gas, garbage & HOA for the price. $995/mo for a condo like this is just fracking awesome. I am in love. We should know by Thursday. Watch this space for further updates.

Sounds expensive from here, but I of course don't know anything about what's usual for rent there... I'm just thinking 1000 bucks a month, that's 500 a head, that's a lot of bucks to earn.

Sounds like a decent price to me for all to me amenities you get. I know you couldn't get a place like that here for that price. I saw a place like that once several years ago and it was 1600. Now it's probably upwards of 2000.

Ah....few problems. 1) no transportation. 2) no $ for membership. 3) no crash space. 4) unpredictability if I'll be moving into a new place by then or needing another day to hunt.
