Placement test #2......ow!

See the subject. Owies. Math. Fried brain because it = algebra. Fractions/variables. Ow. Anyways, I got there. I took the right bus getting there because it was the Cheshire's Taxi Service. Not exactly a bus, but it'll do. No biggie. I get to the admin building to find out where the test is, and get lost by going down a couple of long hallways. Finally, I get to it. Well, the proctor in charge says enter your social security number on this green sheet. Enter all the fields with the red asterix only. Well, one of them said student ID #, and I didn't realize that was supposed to be my social security number because that's not what she said. A total of 27 questions and my brain started to hurt after the first 5.....

The end of the test rolls around, I go home. Try to, anyway. Get on the 23 instead of the 85, making the wrong stop.....so I get off @ Bascom and wait for the 85. I get home, then start playing Pharoah, an addiction started by someone we all know & love, misdev. About a quarter of the way through the mastaba building, the phone rings. My girlfriend Anarchy, tells me to get off the game and online. I get online with a grin, dispite the fact my brain hurts.....Eat lunch, post things, and update the journal. More to come later, I think.

Either the 23 or the 85 will get you home with no problem. So will the 24, if they ever start running it again.

Dad, the 23 takes me as far as Bascom and doesn't have any other scheduled stops until downtown Race St/SJCC area. The 85 brings me to the Beacon gas station.

Odd. But you say scheduled stops -- if it's travelling on W. San Carlos, all you have to do is ring the bell and it'll stop. (They could have changed the route, of course. Check the sign on the bus stop to see if the 23 stops there.)
