More fun.

So, while I mean fun in the sense that I've been not depressed, I also mean it in the sense I was cooking again.

  • Maple coated Butternut Squash (cut into 1" cubes, microwaved with 1/4 stick of butter and 1/4 cup maple syrup)
  • Rice (standard white boring rice)
  • Steak. Emmy's & Mom's were coated in fox-point seasoning while I did mine & [livejournal.com profile] mdlbear's with my home made chili oil and a bit of lemon pepper.

Also am getting [livejournal.com profile] selkit for Xmas, so feeling happy about that too.

And will be cleaning my den in between boredom fits. (Playing heroes V right now, will be doing homework later tonight, and will be cleaning den soon.) Research paper happens tomorrow morning for one class at least.

A simple way to make plain white rice not boring is to cook it with tea instead of water.
Lapsang Souchong tea rice goes well with steak. (Your mom introduced me to Lapsang Souchong tea and it is wonderful stuff).
