Marty: I would go for McCain. Justin: I would do McCain, yeah. Me: *walks in from upstairs* I wouldn't, you saw what happened between Lewinsky & Clinton.... All: *GROAN*
I have to do my reflexive wincing whenever my friends talk about McCain and suggest a quick google of the "Keating Five" scandal and successive... stuff. He talks the talk but does not walk the walk. </PSA>
I think if Marty and Justin lived in Arizona, their impression of McCain wouldn't be as good. His name is pretty much mud here, and for some very compelling reasons. Not doing his job as Senator is one, senility and anger management being another. We need someone in the oval office who doesn't throw tantrums for a change.
Oh, and I had no idea that Monica did Hillary too. My impression of HRC has risen a couple of notches and come to think of it, I am a lot more impressed with Monica too. *snerk*
