The con was very interesting, to say the least. I seriously had no idea that I was saving so much bacon. The story is very interesting. I walked into ConOps to see about reclaiming my radio and charger I had loaned them. What I did not know was that Papa Gnome, along withpentaclemoon and others were planning to give me a Gnomeward Bound Hero award. Sabre said: "I'm jealous. Chaos, as being the previous gofer mom of the last bay area WesterCon (WC40), I do hearby award you with this hero medal for not leaving bodies in the front lobby, not stabbing gofers with room keys, and for not banging holes in the wall in order to contact ConOps." I was a bit stunned, and then had to explain to my parents what had happened.
As for birthday plans, I don't have much. We're holding a party on Fri (7/6) from Noon till 1900ish then heading to Kobe for dinner. If you are interested in the dinner run, please be aware you will be paying your own tab. It can get a bit pricey.
