Yes, folks. I am alive. No, I have not disappeared. If you have been getting my away message that reads "I'm either at work or asleep" then that is one indication I am alive. If for whatever reason you have left me a message and I haven't answered it, comment here and I will answer within the time either before I leave for work or when I get back from it. - Work: I love my job. The books are heavy, they get dropped all the time, and they are nifty. Books sell off the cart we are working on, and I tend not to notice because nobody tells me things. If someone notices a book missing in their rack, it could be one of two things: 1) it sold, or 2) it accidentally got shoved in the reject box. I get my first paycheck tomorrow, so that is a good thing. No, I can't tell you how much of that is going back into the bookstore for accumulation of books. - Most often done sport @ work: scaling & packing away Mt. Reject (a pile of books that are too readily available and thus are not accepted by our software) --- Usually undertaken by me, David, or Tim.
- Most often complained about: "My computer is being hijacked by God! I can't enter things!" --- Davesan when his computer is taken over by the administrator remotely
- Thing people at work can't stand: scaling Mt. Book (a huge wall of boxes of books that are typically either mass market or trade books that are stacked in a staircase config against the back wall of the warehouse in the storage area
