Wish me luck folks. Following roaringmouse's advice, I emailed Sue. She sent me an email that asked for my resume, which I sent an hour later. She got back to me around 1230 today, and I have an interview tomorrow @ 1300. Wish me luck, it may be full time. Though with my schedule @ school the way it is, I don't know how much time that may actually leave me for spending with my lovely selkit greyfox. "A job is a job, love." I seem to recall him telling me over the phone. Got an idea for a new icon, but need to work with it.

I am sick of listening to it: the arguments between flower_cat and mdlbear arguing about our sorry financial state. I am probably a drain to them, and I am working on becoming employed. I suppose that means I need to really work on the cafepress stuff that I was supposed to have worked on over the summer. *sigh*

You're not that much of a drain, oddly enough -- we'd be spending almost exactly the same amount if you weren't here. It's mostly the rising cost of gas and food, more cons than usual this year, and the fact that we had to replace both cars within a year of each other.

Is there anything pressing I need to know about the state of finances, such as would you like me to contribute "rent" to household things like food? I know I'm going to school, and to quote mom: "I wish there was something I could do to help."

Not that I can think of -- as I said, you're not adding much of a financial burden at this point, and as you say you're still in school. After you're done with school -- including two years at a state college, if you can manage it -- and have a full-time job, we'll consider rent if you're still wanting to stay here.
