I had fun Saturday. I was at home most of the day talking to Selkit & Danica. Then I get a call about half way through the day from [livejournal.com profile] sailorv61 about wanting to take me drinking. I say "Sure, let's go!" and she said she'd be at my place around 1830 or so. I say "Sounds good! See you then." So Justin stops by and offers to take me to the Highland Games next morning provided that [livejournal.com profile] misdev is unable to go. I don't mind, and he takes us (me & sister thing) out to Burger King. I get back to Starport and wait. I haven't seen Debbie by this point, so I wait. She calls once, asking for directions. Doesn't suprise me, as Antioch to San Jose is no easy trek. I give her to [livejournal.com profile] flower_cat to use as a map, and warn her in the future not to use MapQuest. Time passes, she calls a few hours later. Lost again. I give her back to Mom. Get my phone back, go back upstairs. Some time later, I give the phone to [livejournal.com profile] mdlbear when she calls again. I make the crack to my sister that Rioga can't navigate her way out of a paper bag with neon signs pointing the way and a compass, even if she was pointed in the right direction. Emmy & I laugh, then she finally shows up. I leave, going to Antioch to meet her new fling and such. We get lost on the way there, and it takes a little while for Ehrin to get back to us. I get a drink around midnight, and we go hang out @ Ehrin's playing Trivial Persuit until about 0130. I don't mind this stupidity, as it goes to show how bad I really am at trivia games. I'm still kinda drunk, so I don't really care. I get home a little after 0210, staying up all night. Yee.

Now, next question goes to my furry friends: I got a phone call from one of my friends in AZ, wondering where she could find furries within driving distance of Phoenix. She's already told me Tuscan is not an option, so if people could help me out here, I'd appreciate it.

Heh, I am not surprised that Deb got lost multiple times. I would have been more surprised if she had made it on time without getting lost the first time. Don't get me wrong, I love her dearly. But she really has no sense of direction.

I'm in the kingdom of the West and work in the city of San Jose in a online used book retailer. We have data entry job openings. SCA folk are good folk and we really need people.
Send me email at sue at bookbuyers dot com. Sorry for the unrelated post.

Edit: This job is physically located in San Jose. There is no way to telecommute. We also have a fulfillment job open and a generalist job. The generalist gets to move stuff and build bookcases and generally help out.
