Box is a one and a half year old monkey who wanted to go to a convention. Well, he found his way into a box of registration packets, and sorta got shipped to the LosCon Space Operetta in that box. His first word when he came out of his transport unit was "Box!" and the other monkies around him who were stuffing packets started calling him this. He was smart enough to realize that must be his name.
Now, young Box has survived a while longer and went to WorldCon. His adventure began with a fuzzy 4 dimentionalmdlbear telling him to start loading the spacehopper. Box began loading the vehicle, and they left from a spaceport known as Del Mar High to Anaheim, where the Space Cadets willingly welcomed the class of 2006. He was a busy little monkey from the time he got there, hanging from escalators distributing newszines and trying not to get into trouble. Fortunately nobody caught him at those acts, so he didn't get into trouble. As he wandered through the cafe, he came across some friendly folk who gave him food. Box is an intrepid little curious creature, picking up all his food and studying it before consumtion. Once he established it wouldn't bite him, he ate the hamburger that was given to him. Nothing much interesting happened to him this convention. During the late night things he was commonly found in the filk room sitting on top of chaoswolf's backpack of music. In case filkers are reading this, the reason why you didn't see Box is because you weren't high on coffee.
