Something completely different. I was watching mdlbear & cflute's two-fer and heckling. johno said "If you're going to convince him to produce one, when's yours due out?" So I took that as a hint. Besides, I don't think I'm that good though some people like me. I wonder....Tell me the truth.

If it isn't for fun, you don't need to make a recording because you want your father to. That's fun for HIM, you know that's really why he does it.

As for musicality, well, in filk that's an option. Would you want to play guitar on your own recording? If so, do it. If not, you certainly can find somebody to play for you, and it doesn't have to be limited to guitar. It doesn't have to be limited to only your own stuff, either. If there's something you really love, and would like to record, well, you know enough people who can help you find out if there are any legal issues, and otherwise, it's fair game. (I would be interested in a cover by you of all the songs that were written FOR you. It seems there are a lot out there. ;-)
