CEPT: FlowerCat

Edit: 2300 Just heard from mdlbear --- flower_cat was leaking puss and blood from her belly button. The doctors say it is some sort of localized infection. She will be given a CAT scan (no pun intended) and most likely kept over night for observation. They will be giving her lots of antibiotics, and for the moment it is family only @ Kaiser Santa Clara. More details as they are known.

Edit: 2351 mdlbear said that flower_cat was apparently joking with the nurses and looking cheerful as she told him to come home and get some sleep. That's at least encouraging. More details expected tomorrow.

11-18-08 0753 Edit: 7:53 update: She's being admitted to the hospital; Kaiser Santa Clara, room 1359 (first floor). I'll be bringing her cell phone over sometime around 9:30.

Just my opinion of the situation. This is not directed at any particular person, but I don't like it. mdlbear says this about flower_cat.

On the plus side, I think I have a good idea when I'm seeing selkit again. That made me happy.
