chaoswolfWhen I said I wanted life to get interesting, I was hoping in a good way. I was minding my own business, Emmy was minding hers. Parents were downstairs doing something or another. mdlbear to get our attention. I opened my door and went out into the hall. He mentioned he was taking Mom to the ER because she was bleeding. I'm guessing it is vaginal of some sort, but he was vague in his explination. Updates will be made available most likely through mdlbear rather than me. I will attempt to keep people posted.
Edit: 2300 Just heard frommdlbear --- flower_cat was leaking puss and blood from her belly button. The doctors say it is some sort of localized infection. She will be given a CAT scan (no pun intended) and most likely kept over night for observation. They will be giving her lots of antibiotics, and for the moment it is family only @ Kaiser Santa Clara. More details as they are known.
Edit: 2351mdlbear said that flower_cat was apparently joking with the nurses and looking cheerful as she told him to come home and get some sleep. That's at least encouraging. More details expected tomorrow.
11-18-08 0753 Edit: 7:53 update: She's being admitted to the hospital; Kaiser Santa Clara, room 1359 (first floor). I'll be bringing her cell phone over sometime around 9:30.
