Well, 'tis the final day of CAT6 testing (which I didn't have to take because I'm a senior!). That's the good news. The bad news is that 6th period is 90 minutes long. As if that wasn't bad enough already....besides, I now have more important things to worry about, like....24 days of school left, my AP movie that I'm filming at BayCon, my dance final that I'm still working on.....and now for the big question: how am I going to be able to film it if I'm working all day and if [livejournal.com profile] wolfwings is working all day? I don't even know if the rest of my cast is going to show up, or even the person with the camera. I thought my life sucked during my weeks off. This is nothing to be trifled with. Asking for emergency actors at a con is not easy, especially when you have the parts assigned to the people who will be playing them. I have 2 backup actors, for certain parts. I'm not going to hesitate to ask people @ con to fill in a role if an acor doesn't show.

So, to sum it up....I'm Info Staff for BayCon, [livejournal.com profile] wolfwings is AV/Logistics (I think) and the rest of my cast aren't members of the con except for Mayhem, who's getting in on a pre-reg membership. I will be working most of the time, I will have little to no life if I film it. I'm probably going to have to transform it into a radio play with [livejournal.com profile] mdlbear's help and permission, only if I don't get it done @ BayCon. I might need him to play the part of Horatio since I'm not sure I'll be able to do @ the hotel due to time constraints/and the fact I don't remember my f***ing lines!!! I hate this "movie" in progress for one reason: I have a bad short-term memory and can't remember the damned lines to save my life. I dispise the fact that I've agreed to turn it into a movie, and there's a possibility that I might not be able to do the movie @ the hotel because of the fact that my crew might not show up. They *know* the rehersals are Mon/Tues after school. They *know* we will have a rehersal on Wed if they need it. They *know* they have to be at the hotel in order to film the damned thing. If I have to change plans at the last minute to a radio thing, I can do it. Not something I'd like to do, but if it'll accomodate and be easier for everyone else, I'll tell Mr. Burnett the day after the con ends that I'm going to change my proposal. Aside from that, the script is the same. I'm not altering the script any further, I'm just going to alter the medium if it's the only way.

And, now for the newest news: I just got an e-mail from the ConSuite person from Loscon. She said and I quoth "Chaos, I welcome you as a staff member.  Just report to me on Friday.  If you are avaialble on Thursday as well, that would be great.  Thanks, I look forward to working with you.  Eylat". Subtitle: here's my list of temporary/permanent insanity I have induced on myself. FurCon: Volunteer Coordinator 2003-2004 Consonance: After being a personal Gopher for people for many (lost track) years, I am now Runner Goddess (Gophers) BayCon: After being a Gopher for 10 years, I'm now Info staff. LosCon: Consuite staff, where I will no longer require my mother's signature on a waiver asking if I can work it. Meanwhile, now that I have all these positions, some people on LJ will call me insane. Others will say I'm normal and have a "real life" problem on my hands. I may point out that while these positions are "jobs" as you would call them, they are in no way related to mundane life. This is a "real fannish life" problem more than anything else. Due to the BayCon potential madness with the filming and stuff, I'm gonna have to find time to have fun. As for the other cons, I was born and bred to work these positions. Lovely, isn't it?
