May. 12th, 2003 10:56 pmWell, you know it's bad news when you've had a friend who's almost died twice. You know it's bad news when a phone conversation starts out with "Are you sitting down?" You know it's bad news when you're the first one in the household to hear about it....and you know it just gets worse when you have to break the news to your parents. Yes, folks, I lost a gamer friend today. She died around 5:30pm today of either athsma or diabetes related causes and I'm not sure which.
I was on the phone talking with one of my other friends. My cell goes off, and I pick it up. At first, I'm in two conversations at once. I had to put the landline call on hold for a moment or 4 while I talked to Phil Willmot. He said that his room mate/signifigant other kicked the bucket @ 5:30 ish. flower_cat and mdlbear. Afterwards, I called my girlfriend's cell & left a voice message stating that we had to talk. My next call was to girlfriend's mother, telling her the sad news that had plauged all of Starport within the circle of friends of the deceased. I have to explain it to two other people at school tomorrow.........wish me luck.
