Ok...I don't know how in the fuck to do this. She says it has to be 4.75 x 4.75 inches (normal CD cover size). Now, here's the interesting part: She wants us to design a CD cover for a burned CD of our artwork. It's no so much that she's bonkers, but I don't know how well my computer might react to this insanity. I have almost 2 concameras worth of stuff on my iWhack @ school..most likely my poor little laptop will need a system overhaul or its windows memory erased. Here's the extra credit part: I can do a CD cover for a music album. I'd like my dad
mdlbear to produce a CD so I can do the cover. Can only produce the cover if he has something for me to work with. Either that or I could burn some MP3's onto a blank CD and do the cover that way. Sounds like fun, doesn't it?
Here's what happened so far this week. English was really small for the last two days due to Advanced Placement testing. We were forced (me and the others who weren't taking the tests) to watch Mystery Science Theater 3000 the movie. I mean, I wasn't all that impressed by the re-run @ BayCon of the little red riding hood episode, but the movie disgusted me. This Island Earth probably was a great movie for its time, but taken into an MST3K atmosphere killed it. Math: had an exam. no biggie. Econ: put into textbook teams that were different from the last textbook team. I have 3 other people in my group who need to hand me their notes on Fri so I can run off copies. (We each take notes on 1 section, I take them home & run off copies so we all have the same notes. Saves us the trouble of explaining it.) Note to self: need to pester them about that. Dance: practicing for today's dance placement. I am a senior and am unaffected by this. Instead, I get to come up with my own solo. 5th & 6th: I'm a TA! I don't get homework. Writing lab: eh sleep all the time & do the work. No problem. A+ is in the bag.
Quote of the week:
Mr. Barret: We're going to talk about the nervous system today to see how the body reacts to certain signals.
Minion: You see a werewolf in full Crinos form charging towards you!
Mr. Barret: AAAAH! It's a Get!
(quote provided by my little Minion in biology class yesterday).
Randomness: I'm not sure if I'm taking my digital camera or my normal camera. I'm probably taking my normal one. Note to self: Get more film. Pick up tux tomorrow. Yes, I'll stand up straight on Saturday,
flower_cat and
mdlbear. I'm not going to do what I did last year. Besides, you two at least have got to agree that a white tux looks better and is cheaper than the dress that I wore last year. Taken right before prom @ my place The taller one that I am in most pics with is Mayhem (current girlfriend) and the taller blonde chick in the pictures is my friend Michelle, a friend I hung out with last year who needed a ride to prom. This time, though...Dad's taking us and I haven't discussed dinner with him at all. probably should do that Friday night.
Good stuff:
- 3 days till prom
- don't have to take dance today
- werewolf game tonight
- get to bring in assignments for AP English
- chocolate covered coffee beans
Bad stuff:
- econ notes (homework)
- pestering group members to make sure I get their notes on Fri
- dealing with Eileen Martz (bitch from hell)
- falling asleep in math class
- listening to music that i had to listen to for a choreography around spring finals
- trying to choreograph my own steps to a song that doesn't use improvised karate moves
And one more thing: *playful smack to
thechick* Damn you, rachel. Now you have me doing it.
