Good lord, this weekend was boring.
Apr. 7th, 2003 06:43 amWell, okay. So "boring" isn't the right word, but oh well. I had Friday Night to spend jacking off by playing games on my computer and being bored out of my mind, wondering who was going to be at the slumber party I had to go to the next morning. flower_cat and bought a sketch book for the hostess of the party, then had to wrap it using office labels & wrapping paper. I did a nice enough job that it was wrapped, I didn't say I was an artist. Upon arrival @ Danielle's house, I was pounced by their dog, Marty. I was forced to give her a few fries to get her off of me. I was eating my lunch and I saw my two friends, Minion & Pook. It was a relief to see Minion, because I would've been completly bored if it weren't for her......Anyways, we did a Survivor ripoff, with 5 events & teams. Event 1) a 100 piece Scooby Doo puzzle. The mental challenge. Event 2) Endurance. We had to stand on a beam with a water balloon under each foot, people tossing rubber balls and firing Nerf guns at us. Event 3) Food. It's a lot harder than it sounds: we were given 2 gummy worms, a few potato chips, a slice of pizza and a pile of ice cream w/ chocolate syrup on it. It sounds like fun, doesn't it? We had to lay on our stomachs and not use our hands in any way. I was told to "take it like an animal" so I did. Event 4) Tug-o-war. I don't have to explain this challenge, the name says it all. Afterwards, we opened presents, had cake & went to Dave & Buster's, an Adult Arcade. Several hours were spent there, having fun. We came back to the hostess's party, and everyone except for myself and Minion crowded around the game cube. We went out back & larped a bit. They were still around that damned gamecube until 2 (with daylight savings time in effect it was 3) in the bloody morning.....
I hitched a ride home from Minion's dad, then had the house to myself for a few hours. Later that evening, I changed my mundie nickname to "Kat" instead of "Katy", likemdlbear has stated in his entry. Detailed account of my "fun filled" weekend...damn, I can't wait until the 18th.
