Lovely. I got home yesterday and was hearing my mom bitching about the death of one of her friends (I don't remember the name. Last night suddenly seems like a blur..) and she's been at this bitching about it for 2 days. I tried to make a grim attempt @ humor and said to her "Since black is a normal fashion statement for you, Mom...you should wear all white to show you're in mourning." [livejournal.com profile] flower_cat laughed only slightly, then told me that I was the only thing at the time keeping her from going off the edge. Upon [livejournal.com profile] mdlbear's arrival back home, I asked him to help me fix the link to Now Playing @ A News Station Near You! but I don't think it's going to get a lot of laughs from people who're on the Republican side of the spectrum (No offense to Freyja or anyone else who reads this & is Republican). I don't mean to insult the president by using this poster as a statement, I merely wish to deliver a message that we're not supposed to be getting involved in Iraq's problems.

Wednesday parties can be extremely boring. I had known about "Operation: Iraqui Freedom" for several weeks now. This is the #1 reason why last night's party only had about 13 people at the most. Usually we have 21 people at least, but due to the fact that so many of our friends are afraid to even so much as come seek relief at Starport, we get that small, boring feel to the party. The Gamer Group was being loud and obnoxios, not that I minded much but made foot traffic upstairs nearly impossible.

School's a bitch. Here I am, writing another journal entry in 00 period, where I've been posting all my entries from school. I've been so bored recently in this class that there's nothing to do. And on the one day I can listen to decent music on my CD player, I forget it at home. The teacher's not here and I could easily get away with it, but I left it at home. I'm a genious, aren't I? Not to mention the fact that my girlfriend forced me to go to 7th period, which is the easiest class in the world to get out of if I have to...

Some thoughs have been going through my mind about the current state of affairs. If we restart time going from November 1st 2000, knowing all we know now, would Gore have made it into the White House instead of Bush? Would Gore have responded differently to Iraq's problems? Would Gore have responded differently to 9-11? Would Gore be attempting to hunt down Ossama bin-Laden? Was it right for a kid in a midwestern state to get suspended from school for wearing a shirt with a picture of Bush & Laden on it that said "Evil doers"? Was Tinker v. Des Moines refferanced in that case? Are we going to win the war? How will the war end?

And now for something completly random thought that I'm taking opinions on: Should I wear a white tux or a black tux to Sr. Prom next month?
