Anyways....I guess it's time for something else. I've been a busy little puppy-cat. Thinking about how my life is working out. trying to keep my new year's resolutions, and watching DVDs. I have procrastinated on my chores, but I'll do those once I get up. I'm going to also do something else while I'm up....eating breakfast. Novel idea, no? Well, that's beside the point. Need to make a few phone calls to people I know & care about, wishing them a happy new year and informing them of what's changed since last we talked. Probably won't take that long, but still. Meh. Currently up and unable to sleep because I found out that going to bed @ 9pm ≠ good idea. I really need to go back to bed @ 10. Mightt be the only way to sleep. Hm...what else do you people need to know...? I slept in. I really did. Didn't get up until almost 4:45pm. Seriosly: I can't afford to do that. Not now. No. I have to get back into good sleeping habits for school. Also at some point need to go to the DMV to take the written test again so I can hopefully get my permit. Need to have a car....would be so nice to have freedom without my parents driving me everywhere. I admit, I need one as a locker for my stuff during school because it's heavy. I've got problems. I know. I also know that having a car of my own would be easier for me to actually get to school, much saner than taking the bus with all of my
Also need to learn cooking and stuff. Making dinner every so often isn't bad when dinner = 5 ingredients or less. It's a nifty little cookbook I got for X-mas from Fairy Goth Mother
Thinking about what else I need to say......................can't think of anything else at the moment. I'm sure more will come to me as warrented, and will update depending on my mood.
For you, things that have gotten me through tough times
Date: 2006-01-03 07:31 pm (UTC)"I'm not going to let it bother me tonight,(2x)
Tomorrow I might go as far as suicide, but I will NOT let it bother me tonight"
2). What I call "The MASH toast" (yes, from the TV series)
"May the new year be a damn sight better than the old one"
3). Quote from Mirror Dance, by Lois McMasters Bujold.
"Don't you DARE pity me, I SURVIVED!"
So a virtual glass and may the new year be a damn sight better than the old one for you.
