OK. Here goes.

1. I'd like to point out I do not want to hear negativity or "I told you so" anywhere on the comment section of this post.
2. I'd also like to point out that the relationship between myself & grendies being boyfriend/girlfriend worked about the same way that the relationship with myself and Mayhem worked out: we make better siblings than lovers. Damnit.
   
   I want whomever created my year to take it back. The good thing out of this: karadurzero is now my mate.

That is kind of funny. Just the other day, I was telling my mother that I am not satisfied with this 21st Century, I want to trade in for a working model. One that didn't start with 9/11 and go downhill from there.

You =have= a mate and a boon sibling-friend. That sounds like "good" to me. Lots of love in your life! May it get better from here.

There are things that we mortals are meant not to know, that we are not meant to know, that we are never allowed to know. One may look at a situation and say "dammit, we're siblings, I wanted more than that"... and another may look at the same situation and say "hey, okay, so we tried something different and it didn't work, but now I have someone who I can care for and trust."

One man's heaven is another man's hell. Conversely, one woman's hell is another woman's heaven. How you look at the situation is up to you. (Granted, it's easier for your brain's chemistry to say "I hate this" than "I like this", but it's still an effort of will that needs to be made in any case.)

Besides, you have a heart-sib AND a mate now. Where's the negative side to that? :)

It's a choice you make, to think of the negative things, or to think of the positive ones. Be realistic, not pessimistic -- acknowledge the bad, but don't forget to recognize the good, too.
