Just a few thoughts going through my mind

• I hate Colin Powell. Just thought I'd mention: the tribunal was boring & non-interactive. I didn't have fun. But I'll do my homework anyway.
• I was looking @ the thought of getting an iBook @ some point. I know I keep saying to myself I have no room for another laptop, and I know that the one I have currently (WinXP/Linux dualboot) takes forever & eternity to boot up in either OS. Opinions on this?
• Shakespeare term paper on King Lear due Monday. Spend tomorrow doing this, since I've got nowhere else to be/nothing else to do.
• Contemplating going to the furcon meeting on Saturday, but I've got that term paper to do so I probably won't go unless I have to.

On homework and other school stuff: "Though boredom we gain insight on the mundane and small, unimportant details around us." Remember to laugh at the irritating and dull, it helps make 'em more bearable.

On the iBook thought, sounds like a good idea, but only if you've got the budget for it otherwise wait. If you do get one get it through your business, TigerDirect and CircuitCity would be good partner stores to check first. If for whatever bizarre reason neither one of those has iBooks, check the Shop.com partner store.

If you do go to furcon please get some pics for me, I've never been to it but it sounds interesting =)

Ibooks take a long time to boot, too; the trick is to put it to sleep rather than turning it off. Hard to do with a dual-boot machine, though. I find the iBooks unusable because of the trackpad and the Mac UI; on the other hand they have much better battery life. YMMV.

YMMV? BTW, you seem to forget that I like trackpads. The UI is something that I can actually live with. Only games on the computer (if I had any at all) would probably be Spaceward Ho! and Scarab of Ra.
