I'm getting this uneasy feeling that Dickerson was right. Love is a madness. It's an obsession....and I'm going crazy because I'm in love....it really bites.

The timing: We were discussing As You Like It and the love between Rosalind & Orlando. That same day, Pantherchan is forbidden from seeing me. You know what? This bites!!!!

How forbidden? I mean, how does that work since you're at least part of the time at the same school?

No extra-cirricular activity time unless I go to her school for a tournament or something on the weekend. She can't visit unless she has an excuse like a club meeting...which isn't very often that she goes to those, that I know of.

Pantherchan's parents are just setting themselves up for losing her entirely once she's out of school and free of them... forever. I like your parents' style of parenting much better. My opinion, worth easily twice what you paid for it.

Um, I think you haven't quite placed me in RL, have you? Susan Fox [formerly Fox-Davis], LA filker and hospitality suite type person, I saw you-all again at Con Chord a couple months ago. I knew your parents first from Westercons and stuff, do you remember now?

Meanwhile, back on topic: love and obsession are not just for the very young, I assure you. Now that I'm back in "circulation" again [even though my divorce isn't final for another 3 months], I'm finding myself back in the cycle of serial obsessions myself as if the intervening 25 years had never happened. Jeez. They say, if you miss a step, you have to go back and make it up, well I think I'm doing that now. At least you have some Twoo Wuv going on in your life now, even if her parents are making life miserable for you. Hold on.

Anyways, I found out that I'm becoming too dependent on her to brighten my week. I seem to be attaching myself and refusing to let go. Every parting kiss is that much more unbearable for me until the 6 months of grounding are over, seeing as how we haven't been able to do serious hard core yiffing since before the shit hit the fan.
