ConChord: Day 1 (Continued)

As I stated this morning, all was boring. I didn't do anything. I sat upstairs & went online. As the day progressed, I started running into filkers. It was fun! I met the legendary Joe Bethancourt, and got to help him bring in his insturments. I've had a blast so far, though I still wish my panther was here....

Hanging out in your room is a horrid way to meet folks. I bet there were lots of filkers around in the afternoon, but you didn't see them.

I'm aware my antisocial tendencies are a bad way to meet people. I'm aware that there were lots of people who showed up that I didn't see. Though let me correct you: I actually went outside to the lobby after I updated. I did meet people when I went out there. Joe Bethancourt & Bill Sutton, to name a few.
