chaoswolfList 5 reasons why you are a geek. And make them good reasons. Justify them. Explain them. Be loud & proud about how big of a geek you are!
Then, pick the 5 biggest geeks you know and have them do the meme.
1) I have played in D&D, AD&D, and D&D3e. Not touching 3.5 though I can tell you any of the AC variations and how many times they have changed that rule.
2) I am familiar with 99.9% of the D20 systems. D&D 3.0, D20 Modern (and all variants), Star Wars (Revised), etc and could tell you how similar all the weapons are.
3) I am familiar with all of the PopCap games because I've played them all at least once. I can tell you anything about the website.
4) I'm a Star Wars Geek because I own almost all the books ever published, with the exception of a few books here and there, the e-book and the comics.
5) I am a con brat: able to survive in convention environments for years on end because of my fannish heritage and adaptability.

Anyways....Went out to see Batman Begins withshadowwolf171 and jilara, and we all thought it was going to be a good movie based on the previews. Admittantly, previews don't tell one much about it, but we saw those and thought that it'd be nifty. Apparently the first 5 minutes had their high & low points, but the rest of the movie was definatly worth it. See? No spoilers. Told you.....great effects throughout. I liked it. The plotlines were so...erm....different....

My 5 geek reasons.
Date: 2005-06-22 03:02 am (UTC)1.I have traveled all the way to Los Angeles and back in one day just to see a Weird Al concert.
2.I have created charahcters in AD&D that were based on both pro-wrestlers and Anime charachters. Not only did I play them just like their real life charachters but I made them believable ad&d charachters as well.
3. I once ran an aol based online RP guild along with another person.
4. I have spent over 200 dollars just for a seat to a WWE Pay Per View. Not only that, but the spent over 200 dollars in merchandise at the event itself.
5. I know more about WWE History than I know about mathamtics. I can answer virtually any WWE based question given to me.
If these aren't good enough reasons I don't know what is.
