Damn damn damn damn damn! I don't care if rekcoridni and rockstar_ember think he's cool....I hate the guitar prof. I am having a few problems with him right now, and I'm emailing him about questios re: the final. I apparently do not have the grade I thought I did....and now it turns out that I'm either going to be given an "incomplete" or re-taking the class. Fat fucking chance on the latter option.....

I personally would take the incomplete over a messed up GPA.....but that's just me. Gonna go hide now.

Ummm... Incomplete? Bad idea if you're not committed to finishing it off and cleaning up the grade. If you don't go back and resolve it in a certain period of time (check the situation at your school), it will probably morph into an "F". The incomplete is only given so that you have the chance to pull a save. I'm assuming it's too late in the session to apply for a "W" but, if you still can and really don't want to deal with this class again, that would be a better way to go.

Definatly too late for me to apply for a W. My only other alt is to take the damned final and struggle with it since I missed that one week.

De Anza and Foothill used to allow Profs to "back date" a W for a student who was really trying but for some reason was either going to Fail or because of Life(tm) need an Incomplete, but again wasn't going to go back and finish it.

Couldn't hurt to ask.

Doubtful. I will go talk to a counselor tomorrow to see what else can be done, and email the prof about it.
