...but because of my lack of confidence in my ability to clean my room, it's not getting done. Fuck. I just wanted to try and clean it so it'd be a semi-safe location for doing energy work for me and a few friends. It's not going to happen because I don't feel enough motivational instinct or organizational capacity to get it done. Fucking hell.

The layout and contents of your room are a symbol. You should probably do some work to make your room a safe and controlled space for yourself and the friends you allow in it. Cleaning up is part of this.

"A place for everything and everything in its place." I heartly recommend a series of books including "Clutter's Last Stand," but sense that you may be sick of such advice.

I will add that my room is messy, but in the energy work sense, heavily defended. There's nothing contradictory about this so long as the _boundaries_ between your space and other space is clearly defined.
