Purely for the reason that I've been there before. In a position where one is probably going to be lost due to circumstances beyond my control and one is going to turn into a messy ending like all my other former relationships. It's scary. I'm not sure what to do about it any longer, except wait. If things take a turn for the worst, I will try to g&bi (grin & bear it). Not that it's going to be an easy task, but I feel I may not have much of a choice...
