The good: I think that the convention Loscon will be extremely interesting. A major change from my two Volunteer lead jobs at Further Confusion and Consonance and my information job at BayCon, I will be taking the
ConSuite grunt shift instead, possibly doing volunteer work (in the Consuite, since I'm on staff) and try to save my membership if Dad won't cover me for next year. As soon as I get the pad of paper at my side, I will be "undercover" at LosCon, working the newszines. Last year, I wrote an entire zine by myself without having the editors and such hovering over me telling me what was wrong with my writing. I admit I made a few mistakes in the Hanukkah typing (thinking that it was blessings instead of random songs pretaining to the holiday) but aside from that it was good.
The bad: Today, the change in power from Davis to the Gubanator took place.
The Bizzare: Funny news sotry tonight is the "Revenge of the Turkies" where the turkies are getting their revenge for being eaten. Nobody in Pennsylvania is amused by the turkies running across the road and almost getting killed, but it's pretty funny.
