Today started out as normal. Got up, dressed & went to work. Did books. Yay. The abnormality was realizing I didn't have cash or my cell phone, thus causing a semi-panic. What actually happened was my cow-orker Ken went to buy me food when he went to the post office. This was unexpected, and he said "consider it my xmas present to you." I felt that was generous of him, and thanked him heartily. When I got home, time passed like usual and found that mesiunu is now unemployed. This biteth in such a manner that I wish the other head of the gorgon (boss) would return from vacation so we could set her up with a job interview. And I miss selkit. Really miss you, hon. *kisses the zorro*

As long as mesiunu gets well soon, this is not necessarily a bad thing. She has skills and talents and was underemployed (and vastly overworked) in the last job.
