Or have I somehow angered the employment gods? Yes, Richard brought goodies today, but for some reason he hates me for piling books next to my desk. Sue is the same way, wondering why I don't box my own rejects. Perhaps it's that I'm getting paid to enter data rather than box my rejects, or perhaps it's just that I'm lazy. Whatever the reason, I seriously wish I could figure it out in time to not get glared at again.

Mrrf....btw, PING [livejournal.com profile] selkit: Did you go to the doctor's today like you were supposed to? I don't want to make Orka sit on you, hon. Left a voicemail on your answering machine, and would like to hear from you.

If anyone's interested, [livejournal.com profile] writtenwolf has been updated. Chapter 1 of Blood & Honor is up. That is the RPG between me & [livejournal.com profile] asahoshi. More will be added if people have interest. EDIT: It will be updated. I haven't gotten to that item on my "to do" list.

And Adventures of Box The Space Monkey will be continued here, if people wish me to continue that.

Have you been told by a boss type not to pile the books next to your desk?

Perhaps the process is supposed to be enter the rejects, then box them up?

Find out if boxing is part of your job description. Even if it isn't, I'd do it just to demonstrate your ability to expand beyond your assigned duties.

Agree with [livejournal.com profile] gridlore -- box 'em anyway to show how competent and adaptable you are.

It was a good trip, love, despite the issues I've had breathingwise. Some of the best times I've had over the past two years happened there, love. January isn't far off at all.

Selkit, I don't think that type of evasion is really going to work on Chaos.

I'll go with the others and say just giving a non-committal smile (don't bare the teeth!) and box the rejects up nicely. Showing a bit of initiative and willingness to go along with additional pieces of detail in work can help keep jobs...I learned this one the hard way. Thank goodness my dad worked in another department and gave me a heads up before I lost the job! ~ wolfcat
