*does Discovery Channel voiceover* And here we see the Sacramento Tigerwolf safely returned to her natural habitat, wishing she could actually sleep. */end voice* The trip went well, the only thing that goofed on it was me forgetting I had a $2 pocket knife in one of my carry on bags. The gist of it is, I'm home safe, I'm throwing a party on Wednesday celebrating the fact I'm home (for all ya'folk who missed me), and I'm going to be doing homework. My courses this quarter all rock --- My philosophy class has a special segment called "religious pragmatism through the eyes of Luke Skywalker" which is a special thingie on Knowledge/Reality. I think it's going to be very awesome. My professors (all except my ELIT, I think) have a sense of humor, which is something that I have seriously missed at De Anza. Apparently the ELIT prof didn't know anything about ListServ stuff and wanted me to educate her, so I spent about 20 minutes after class talking with her on that, had an orthodontist appointment to get my retainers tightened.

I hate Mondays, but more to the point I hate the first Monday of the quarter @ De Anza: trying to get your books in order to do homework due tomorrow morning, and did I forget to mention it's during rush hour where it takes you over half an hour to get into the store in the first place? Ergh.

On the plus side of things, I received a delicious lemon chicken recipe by my darling little sister (super_star_girl) on Saturday, mdlbear, flower_cat and super_star_girl taking me for sushi on Sunday, and today starting school to finally get some semblence of routine again. Yay!

Only down side to this whole arrangement: selkit is still in Canada. *sigh* I miss you, love. *coil nose-to-tail in efforts to try sleeping*
