Great America/Boomerang Bay

Went out to Great America today. Was early. Met up w/ Ray & Lisa, chucked my wallet and a few other things into their bag so we could get through the detectors. Got a complimentary guest pass because it was "Get a friend in for free" day. I got in. Took up a new bag from Boomerang Bay and a pair of goggles. They prooved themselves useful during the events that followed, which were several water rides. Got sunburnt (again) in different locations than the last time, which was Monday 2 weeks ago. Damn. I hate sunburns.

Good news: I got out of the house. I got away from my parents. I had a break.

Bad news: Dude....sunblock!!!!! Bleah....

At home now. Updating LJ, thinking about sunblock and sunburns, acknowledging I had a good time, and trying to figure (based on the responses I've gotten thus far) who all is going to show up for the party. There's still time before I compile the "current" list.

I have survived another night. Yippee. I miss her already...yet I know that this trip needs to be done, in order to free her mind from the trials and tribulations of dealing with her family. It's going to be a rough month for me. I love her in such a way I am not sure I've felt with any of the other women I've dated....and I don't know how I will survive. I will, though. It's just going to be a month...only a month. I can hold out that long....
