Today was rough. Not talking the final. That was easy. Messed up once (pretty damned good, though not really great...) during the Heian Shodan kata, throwing a downblock instead of the knifehand that we were supposed to have been working on. Oops. One mistake isn't that bad, though it was during a final, so I was a bit embarrased. Managed to pass though and get to blue belt, knowing that I still haven't managed to get that down yet. Made it to blue belt though, so I'm happy. And now I'm being redundant. Anyways, on with the rest of my day.
Delt with Ed who called 5 times by accident during the aftermath of that final, (while Usagi-Sensei was finishing the criticism/feedback portion of the test). Wasn't really amused with him for that....Called![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
falconoflight and went with shadowwolf171 to go collect her and her friend Vincent, who is as it turns out also friend to angeldelespadas (and whom I swear I've met him before somewhere.....) We talked, and I did a bit of energy work with him, discovering that he was bound to Fate and Morgan. Funny thing this. Also warded him against unfriendly family spirits so that now they can only bother him if he wants their attention. Did more stuff with Lo, finding out more things about certain aspects about the past and comming to a few decisions. Comments were made, things were said, and we all laughed. Went over to shadowwolf171's place for a while & hung out.
We went to drop Lo off @ her place, then Vincent, then me. He was telling me in the car after Vincent got out that his heart was in pieces and he needed love. "Without love, there is pain." His words. I can't tell him how true these words are for some people, and I can't discount how accurate they are for him. The only thing I can do is offer him my thoughts & prayers that he gets better, and somehow manages to fight his depression and move on with his life.
I probably should sleep now, though I'm not sure how possible that will be with the party going on next door..........besides, promised people I'd stay online a little while anyway.
