Got home from another tiring day @ school. Decided to hop online as usual, see who was on. Neither
wolfshighpriest or
asahoshi. Just my luck, I think. It doesn't suprise me that Danica's out with Jason, considering they are engaged. It also doesn't suprise me that Carter's not online, and I am aware that he has that theater thingie. This just means I can't work on either story.
Anyways, conversation I had a few months ago w/ the
mdlbear:
Dad: You're going to need G, D7 & C, Chaos. Trust me.
Me: No I'm not! It's only beginning guitar, Dad!
Dad: Yes, you will. Trust me.
Me: No, I won't!
----4 weeks later----
Me: Dad, I'm sorry.
Dad: About what?
Me: Not listening to your teachings about the chords.
Dad: Hate to be the one to say "I told you so!"
(Well, ok. Those weren't his exact words....but you get the idea.)
Another thing: just as kind of a nice little reward, the parents take us out for sushi when we get report cards. Ever since I started college, we've gotten to go out when my sister brings the grades home. Because I'm a college brat now, I don't have progress reports or anything of the like to bring home. They've really stopped asking me how I'm doing in school. The belt test didn't merit sushi when I passed it (and I got an A in the class, I might add). I had an A in fencing, and a B+ in US History. Are they playing favorites intentionally or accidentally? Oh well. Again: Just my fucking luck. :-(... :-P~ to the little gidgit!
