What is wrong with life this week?

Nevermind, don't answer that. It's bad when all you have to go on is your word that everything will be okay. It's worse when you are certain you won't see the love of your life for at least another 3 months. It gets worse than that: we might be waiting a whole year before seeing each other again. That's not a journey that asahoshi or myself wish to go on...the sooner she can find a way to get me up there, the better. I've been in CA too long, and I haven't been up there to see her in a year at least. We keep missing the timeline of preferance, then we wait for something good to happen that will allow us to become physically close.

I have given her one of my pagan ear cuffs, and she has given me a dragon pendant, as a sign of our continuing love for one another. She has sworn that she will return, but somehow....I don't know. I want to believe it, and I'm sure it will happen eventually. I hate not being able to see past my own next few weeks, which will mean me readying myself for school again. I long for her to go to the SF Art Institute instead of the one in Seattle, but her parents are so dense it's not funny. At least her father, anyway.

• Day 1: Lazy-day. Plane arrives @ 1:45pm. We go retrieve her from the airport & play Jeff & Maya Bohnhoff's album Aliens Ate My Homework for the first track Fly No More. Get home & make dinner whilst the parents go out to a bash @ Kathy Mar's. Go upstairs & game.


• Day 2: We go to the San Fransisco Zoo. See all the new animals they've got, learn that our local black rhino is one of the most active females in her species (with a total of 16 offspring), and see all the new exhibits.


• Day 3:We go do something. She gets up & has me brush her hair. We then proceed to the San Jose Museum of Art, and go look @ the anime exhibit. I buy a book of multiple choice correspondance forms, just because I can & it's funny. Get home, game more.


• Day 4: See day 2 up to the 2nd period. Myself, asahoshi and Mayhem all go over to the Winchester Mystery House while flower_cat & super_star_girl go to the movies & watch Princess Diaries 2. We go on the mansion tour & the Behind the Scenes tour, our visit there ending just as Mom & Emmy got out of the movie Theater. Come home, & do more gaming.


• Day 5: Wednesday morning. Game until some bizzare hour when my cell goes off, with flower_cat asking if we wanted to go cheese shopping. We do so, and have lots of juicy conversation. People show up for the usual pizza bash, and although we didn't get the recording done like I had hoped, we did manage to give asahoshi a live mdlbear performance, which is something she hasn't heard in a while. Finished things & went upstairs to sleep.


• Day 6: Brush her hair again, then go out. We go yuppy grocery shopping, and then go to Leather Masters for a few minutes. I call & we get taken to the Rosacrucian Museum, & we get in for free because a former high school friend of mine recognized me from sophomore year. Come home, screw around with our new toys from LM, then do some more gaming. Not much gaming, but we get some done before we left for the Avalon Rising concert that night.


• Day 7: Wake up & go pick up misdev. Hear about all the nice...um...I found them to be boring...bits that are going on with the housemates she is still "living" with...I nearly fall asleep on asahoshi's shoulder on the way up there. We went on a few rides, played one round of Lazer Tag, then went on another ride & hit the beach, actually going body-surfing. I need to seriously see about investing in either a wetsuit or a board so I am prepared for the next time....we went back to the house with swizzel sticks (rock candy) and started to sing the doom song until I fell back asleep in the car. I remained out until we got to the house, and I think we gamed after that, but I don't remember.


• Day 8: Damnit. I hate today. Well, um....what did we do....Dad took us to the Stevens Creek Army Surplus Store & we picked up some pins for LTC & Col (ranks in the Army) for our jackets. We then went to the University Art Store to buy a red paint marker type thingie, which asahoshi used to apply the GDI & Brujah logos to my white jacket & my black trenchcoat. Anyways, we go out to the book store a while later with flower_cat to buy some books. I try to get one of my gaming books that I'm owed, and fail. I wind up comming home with a Star Wars novel instead, and asahoshi winds up with a book on String Theory. This isn't suprising, because for some reason she and myself have the same personality. String Theory in the common man's language translates to "randomness" which is something that we are both very good at.
