It wasn't that bad....
Mar. 21st, 2004 10:52 pmBut it was still a little scary. Scary to the point that when I woke up with Mayhem still half-asleep, I got dressed & went downstairs & saw my good ol' bachelor uncle Phil. I have nothing against Uncle Phil, I'm just not used to waking up on a Sunday morning and having him offer to take us to a gaming store for a while. I grabbed Mayhem out of bed, got her dressed & we left for Legends, where I picked up a copy of D20 Modern & Urban Arcana (both of the same game-system), a box of dice & an empty dice box. After which, we went to lunch, me treating myself, Mayhem & Uncle Phil to Fresh Choice. (OMG, I had a salad? There's something wrong here...) I called
flower_cat during the meal & said that there was no reason for her to yell @ me or the 2 diabetics for not eating anything (dispite the fact that unlike Mayhem, I actually ate before I left the house).
When we got home from lunch, we wound up gaming amidst the devastating loud noises of my sister's birthday party. This is bad because I'm a hearing-based creature who has extremely sensitive hearing. Unfortunatly, gaming upstairs isn't always the smartest thing in the world. In this case, it was the only place to game, so we had to make due. As the evening progressed onward, I was gaming with the group & going downstairs for cake. Unfortunatly, one of my cake runs I timed kind of badly. A call from Emmy's math teacher was recieved, bringing me up to the fact that my sister had in fact been lying about her math grade. This is odd because she had made the Dean's List a few weeks before this, but now we find that she has in fact been lying to us about getting her homework done. Another unfortunate occurance was the fact that Emmy started to get suicidal & depressed after she found out she wouldn't be able to game with us. This lasted up until a few hours ago where she had finished watching her TV show or finished her shower or something like that. Anyways, she seemed to get a little better after all the guests had gone home for the night....
Now I get online & am going to order a palm keyboard (so I have one for my PDA), working on a study-streak so that I have my stuff down for my first final, which is on Tuesday...and also listening to my Heather Alexander MP3 collection w/ my new headphones I got. BTW,
mdlbear: You did stop @ the bank so I have lunch money for tomorrow, right? We going to pay for my classes tomorrow night?
