Damn you, Mondays! I hate you, Mondays!

In the immortal words of Garfield: "I hate Mondays because something bad always happens." As someone who doesn't much follow comics, I at least know that all Mondays have their downfalls. Here's what happened that went bad: flower_cat didn't make the cut for the Crowne Plaza job. All of us here at Starport were really hoping she'd get it. Unfortunatly, due to this sad news....I'm sorry asahoshi. I'm not going to be making it up there for Spring Break...and it's probably just as well.
Stuff to know about my spring break:

• It's only 9 days long.


• I have to go get my wisdom teeth out 2 days after I'm out of school.


• I'm probably going to be anti-social & high on Vicadin for a week.


• I'm going to be in a lot of pain.

This is something I'm dispising right now, because I've been counting on this for a few weeks. In some cases (not all, but some), I have been overly hopeful & 'counting my chickens before they hatched' and making plans that were probably not going to happen. This happens to be one of those cases, and damn do I wish I hadn't.........

On a more pleasant note: Saturday night rocked. We had fun. There were gamers upstairs for a good portion of the night, filkers downstairs....and didn't we just leave Consonance a week ago? What was it doing in our living room? The guestlist (or at least a variation of it) comprised of some of the following denizens of Starport:

Aside from the deja-vu feeling, it was very fun & enjoyable. Not that I'm complaining about the deja-vu...but I was on my period, feeling slightly anti-social anyway & not really in the mood to do much. Anyways, that's all from me for the moment.
