I finally talked her into it! I say "will" because I have talked Mom into going back into SCA (due to the potential death of it in the bay area). She's not going to Arts & Sciences this weekend up in Fort Ord, instead she goes to see my sister home from camp. I am the sole representative of that household that I know of, although from what she told me

roaringmouse and company will be there as well. If anyone else is going, I would like you to post comments with your SCA names in the subject line so I know else from household will be there (please include any titles, etc that newbies need to know) so I know who to look for when I show up. Possibility of my showing up Friday, but I don't know. Might show up Saturday @ gawdawful AM hours...hope not, tho.

As for the later events in the year,

flower_cat went out today to buy patterns for making garb. Now, instead of my usual investment in Gaming books, I purchased 2.5 yards of raw silk and 3 yards of black trim (yes that does say silk and trim.)

flower_cat also said that we will be going to 12th Night for certain, come hell or high water. As for other random events, those will be announced when we get to them. She's making everyone a whole new set of garb, even me.....

Now...here's the funny bit: she says we're all salvagers... Mistress Colleen Elizabeth DeCassis is a salvager, and I'm the "pirate's" daughter. I play like I'm one of them when I hang with them and I go as respectable unlike the other members of household when I'm on my own. Not that salvaging is boring or anything, I just want to give the impression that House of the Annonymos Bosh does have some respectability even though most of SCA knows the rep for us being scavengers.
