I go off today for a BayCon meeting interview for GOH Liason. I will see if the people I "will" be working with are tolerable, and if not, I'll refuse that position and ask for Filk Lounge coordinator, since I'm still too young to ask for the Gopher coordinator job.
And besides, I will be reading my e-mail almost constantly from now until Nov. 16, in which I find out if I have the Volunteer Coordinator job for Further Confusion, then after that, I have that same position for Consonance, in which I need lots of volunteers. Here's the motivation: Random Factors (Mary & John Creasey) will be handing out $25 gift certificates redeemable for a CD of the Gopher's choice.
I'm going to try talking to DAG Productions as well, seeing if I can get the same offer from them. If so, then I will have 2 music dealers for the Gophers to choose from. If not, then...well....um......cest la vie. I'll think of something. More to come on the results of this meeting later.
