I'm starting to get frustrated with her addiction. It seems to me like that gets her off better than I do, yet when I've asked her about it, I do better than the fics. I don't understand life.

I wish I had a fic addiction sometimes....

Can't say whether you understand life or not; the problem is that you don't understand your girlfriend. This is not unusual.
