Still hate that chapter of the book. Still wish it would be simple. But! I mananged to play a tune tonight!!! The Banks Of The Ohio (Trad) was apparently the first song in there. Haven't gotten much farther than that, though. If I try learning G & A before next week, my brain might explode.

It came out perfectly recognizable, too. One or two missed notes, but no worse than many (most?) of my performances.
