Guilt Trips

I feel guilty for a number of reasons. I can't explain why I feel this way. There are too many factors contributing to it. I admit I've been an ass. I wish I could go back and change a lot of things I have done. Sad to say life won't let you change what you have already done. Ever.

Nope, you can't go back and change it.

However, you can appologize for being an ass
and then try to fix what in *yourself* made you act like an ass.

Then proceed to *earn* back what you lost by acting like an ass.

The first person who needs to forgive you, before you can avoid being an ass because you feel like you are or have been an ass, is you.

Really. You'll be miserable if you allow yourself to feel guilty over everything... so why feel guilty? It doesn't do any good unless it inspires some positive action... and if positive action is inspired in any manner, why should you worry about the guilt?

Never explain.
Your friends do not need it
and your enemies
will not believe it anyway.
